How to Make and Submit a "Book Talk" or "Writers Talk"

Guidelines for a "Book Talk":

  • Record yourself on your phone using "landscape" mode.

  • Introduce yourself, introduce the book & author, and tell why the book is special to you.

  • Keep the recording short (1 to 2 minutes long).

  • You can do the "Book Talk" without the book (I can add a photo of the book later).

  • Check your volume to make sure you can be heard clearly.

  • You can record an "audio only" version (I will add photos and video to your voice).

  • Record yourself on your phone using "landscape" mode.

  • Introduce yourself to the students.

  • Keep the recording short (1 to 2 minutes long).

  • I can add graphics that you may want included later; just let me know!

  • Check your volume to make sure you can be heard clearly.

  • You can record an "audio only" version (I will add photos and video to your voice).

There are several ways that you can submit your "Talk":

  • Email the file (see email icon at bottom of this page).

  • Send file via Google Form (email me to receive the form).

  • Share the file with me through Google Drive (email me for my Google ID).

  • Record Book Talk through Zoom (click here to schedule a time).

  • Call me to record an audio file (click here to schedule a time).
