Book worth question.

I have a copy of a book called Something Absolutely Enormous by Margaret Wild. Doing a search for it tells me it is selling on Amazon for over $500 US. Does anyone know why an earth it is worth that much!

Thanks for that. I did wonder as it looks like it was a lucky book club, lol. Do you know if it would sell very well on here or would it be best to list elsewhere.

No I have no idea - have you looked to see if any have sold on here!I suppose you may get a wider market elsewhere than on TM.You could try it on here with a high reserve and see if it gets much interest.Good Luck with it.

Thanks. I will do a search and see what pops up.

A couple of copies have sold on eBay, but I can't see their selling price, and here's a copy in Canada which has been on the market a few times at US$10.

Suspect that the price has been inflated by the Amazon listings. Always suspicious when there's two listings and one is 1c cheaper!

Thats a huge price difference, lol. I have been having a nosy and on alibris.com they have them from $373.34NZ and on biblioz.com they are coming up between $148 and $727.80. I took it into a bookstore here but they weren't helpful, just said they had no idea why. I might try listing it on here first and see if it gets much interest.
