Closet Ive found is either Jennifer Donnelly (the rose series) and Dilly Court. Dilly Courts like a shorter version of LP but stories similarly written :) Other ones that are kinda similar would be Rosie Harris, Lyn Andrews and Annie Groves. I have read all of their books as well as all of LP and I would list her as my fave author :)

Oh and if buying some, get them from book depository (if not on here first of course lol) as they are very cheap on there (about $10 and free shipping)

Reader_kiwigal007, Jul 12, 2012, 5:03 pm

Agreed :) Although I might throw in 'Never look back' as well as my faves :)

Reader_kiwigal007, Jul 12, 2012, 5:04 pm

Bumping for datoofairy :)

A Lesser Evil was a really good read, but then I could relate to it because at the time I was living in close proximity to a similar type of family.I also liked Till We Meet Again and Trust Me.
